Cyril’s Corner

Audrey Budd, former land owner was pleased to join Noralle on site to witness the changes made to that which was once a local nursery / garden centre, run by herself and her late husband Cyril. Audrey has lived in the village for a number of years and witnessed many changes during her active role in the community. She is the sole surviving member of the Committee that fund raised and built Napton Village hall in the 1950's and is still on the hall committee today. Now in her 80's Audrey continues to use the hall facilities as an active and talented badminton and indoor bowls player. Bernard was also pleased to see the final stages of this development coming together, having spent 8 years working on the project prior to his retirement.
